Hi, I am Krystal... It is such a blessing to welcome you to our community. I found my love for photography when I was in high school. Taking year book classes to have an excuse to play with the expensive camera our school had and teaching myself the ins and outs of how to get images that I liked. After finding my love for photography I always had a camera with me. Taking pictures of friends and family when ever we got together. When my daughter was still little I began my journey as a professional photographer. I started out documenting maternity, newborns and births. I had the honor of capturing so many new moms and their little families. The chaos of raising my own family meant I needed something more predictable and birth is anything but predictable. I had photographed a couple weddings as an assistant photographer for an amazing women and friend. I have always been the hopeless romantic who gets teary eyed at shows and a sucker for a cute proposal story. Weddings quickly became my favorite. Getting to tell each couples story, to witness them coming together surrounded by family and loved ones to start their journey as husband and wife has been such an honor.
When I am not behind my camera you can find me reading, painting or hanging out with my family and friends. My favorite people would say my 'to be read' pile is always growing. I love fantasy books that have a good love story in it. I am impatiently waiting for the next book of the empyrean series to come out. Painting is something I am not great at but it is so calming and is something that I love to do with my daughter.
My heart craves adventure, whether it is planning a trip, going to a music festival or trying something I've never done before the excitement fuels my soul. My bucket list of things I want to do and experience is always growing. Some of the things on my bucket list are running a marathon, seeing the northern lights in Alaska, playing with otter or swimming with dolphins. Traveling to new places has always excited me. I love visiting places that has a lot of historical buildings or museums. In 2025 I spent some time traveling by myself. Mostly to concerts and music festivals to see some of my favorite bands. Music has always been a really big part of my life. Road trips to see bands I love fuel my soul and my love for traveling. I think the farthest I have traveled to a festival by myself has been 5 hours. My taste in music is mostly rock. Bands like Bad Omens, Dayseeker and Bleeding Verse are played on repeat with a mix of almost everything else thrown in there. I love finding new music that I haven't heard.
I would love to talk to you about music or places you love. Want to get to know me more...Follow to see what is going on in our lives.
